In this episode of Reimagining Company Culture, we’re chatting with Karis Jones, VP of Human Resources at Good American and SKIMS. Karis’ current focus at SKIMS and Good American is recruiting and nurturing top talent, developing an innovative culture, and fostering equity in the workplace by developing programs and partnerships that focus on increasing access for black and brown people in the fashion apparel business.

Karis Jones currently serves as Vice President of Human Resources for Good American and SKIMS Body. Karis is a native Angelino and grew up in South Central LA. After high school, she moved to Georgia to attend the HBCU, Clark Atlanta University. During college she began to explore her love for fashion, attending design school and launching a clothing brand. After earning an MBA in 2010, Karis headed back to Los Angeles to pursue a career in Human Resources. Building her own consulting firm, and working with new developing brands, she was able to combine her skills in business with her love of fashion. Karis is a constant learner and also has a degree in hypnotherapy and enjoys studying human behavior and communication styles.
