Currently, Pat is the Chief People Officer at Chevron/Spectrum Federal Credit Union headquartered in Oakland, CA. In this role he is responsible for all things relating to people including culture, business and HR strategy, benefits & compensation, compliance, diversity & inclusion, learning and organizational development, talent acquisition, real estate, and safety/security. Previously Pat was the Head of People & Culture at Red Lion Hotels, and Senior Vice President of Human Resources and Lead HR Business Partner at OppenheimerFunds. In these roles Pat has partnered with employees from all levels and locations in as a strategic partner and formed lifelong relationships with current and former colleagues. Pat routinely participates in podcasts and public speaking engagements focused on the employee experience and diversity in the workplace. Additionally, he received national recognition for his innovative approach to employee engagement and Human Resources when he spoke at the EXImpact Employee Engagement Summit and was recognized by HRO Magazine as an HR Superstar. He earned a BA in Psychology from the University of Wisconsin and a Masters in Organizational Performance and Change from Colorado State University. During his time at Colorado State University, he was published in The Praeger Handbook of Human Resources Management v2. During his tenure in Human Resources, Pat has worked for industry leaders in hospitality, security, and financial services. As a result, he partnered with leaders and employees in Northern California, New York, Philadelphia, Minneapolis, Denver, Dallas, Colorado Springs, Seattle, Spokane, Coral Springs, and Los Angeles.
