About The Guest
Leah Heck (she/her) is a Workplace Culture and Communication Consultant and Executive Coach. Which is a lot of words to say that she helps executives and teams navigate complicated situations. Leah uses proprietary frameworks to untangle issues and create actionable paths forward. As the former VP of People and Culture at Bumble, she is now a retained partner, advisor, and coach for the company. Prior to Bumble, Leah was the Executive Director of Internal Development at T3. There she worked to integrate the People team into daily business and helped them become trusted advisors to all levels of the organization. As part of a push for development, she also reinvigorated their MBTI practice and is working on her own master's certification. Leah began her career in marketing and advertising at start-ups and creative tech companies, holding leadership positions since the early 2000s. During this time, she formed a love/hate relationship with HR. In fact, that’s the reason she made the leap into HR from Marketing a decade ago, focusing on employee experience and development over rules and legalities. Leah splits her time between Austin, Texas, and Tulum, Mexico.
